Like many of you, I too share the feeling and belief that Newmarket is a great place to live and has tremendous potential to become even better.  And like many of you I have concerns on how our hard working taxpaying dollars have been sometimes spent.  I believe listening to the constituents and not consultants is what is desperately needed in this town.  That is why I know “Your concerns are my concerns”.

I also believe that living in the Ward that you are running is important and vital to the residents of that Ward.  Being the only candidate that lives here gives me the advantage of being in touch with our neighbourhoods on a day to day basis.  I am active member of the Parent Council at my son’s school at Meadowbrook PS.  We ride our bikes, walk the neighbourhood, play in the parks, shop and eat at the restaurants right here in Ward 3.  I am in tune with the area on a day to day basis that can only come from living in the heart of Ward 3.

I am running for Council because of my strong record of leadership, diverse business background, my belief in the community and the ward we live in.

I encourage your input on the direction Newmarket should be going.  I commit to you to be accountable, accessible and willing to work with you and your family to make sure Newmarket stays great, safe and affordable.  You deserve this more than anything.
